Why We Give

Malachi 3:10

Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.

Luke 6:38

Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.

Three Ways to Become a Member

Baptism

Baptism indicates that one has become a professed believer in Jesus Christ. The believer has a basic understanding of Christian beliefs. We believe in God the Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit otherwise known as the Holy Trinity. The baptism is symbolic the birth, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Transfer of Membership

There is a multitude of reasons why people may seek to move their existing church membership. Such reasons may include moving, new leadership or one may want to be challenged to grow more in Christ through excellent stewardship. We will help in the transition of membership and get on the path to spiritual maturity and growth.

Profession of Faith

A Profession of Faith is for individuals who have displayed a maturing relationship with Christ but do not have a “church home” or an active church membership affiliation. These individuals have been baptized and are ready or at least open to becoming a part of an auxiliary function of the church such as small groups, usher, choir etc.
